Description
Due to increased improvements in house construction and the associated improved insulation, it's becoming increasingly difficult for bats to find a suitable living space for themselves and their offspring. The "Silhouette" box gives bats a safe and suitable home. It's the ideal living space for several species of small bats, offering them protection and a quiet retreat in which to sleep and raise their offspring.
The box should preferably be put up in a covered location on the house facade that is protected from the weather. Since males are aggressive towards other males during the mating season, multiple boxes should be placed at least 10 m apart.
