ROYAL CANIN® Renal Small Dogs is a balanced and nutrient rich formula specifically developed to support your dog's kidneys in cases of renal insufficiency.

Renal support

This food contains a low phosphorus content and a moderate amount of high quality protein to support renal function.

Adapted energy content

The formula's adapted energy content allows for smaller portion sizes per meal, which can help compensate for a reduced appetite in some dogs.

Aromatic selection

This food features a specific aromatic profile to stimulate the appetite of small dogs, especially when food is being refused. The special shape, size (for small dogs) and texture of the kibble have an additional stimulating effect.

Important note

This product is a veterinary diet from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Consequently, it is important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives exactly the nutrition they really need. A change in diet should be carried out carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Ensure the correct portion size, especially when mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To cater to the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Renal Small Dogs is also available as a wet food with fine chunks in gravy or with a soft mousse texture, as well as Renal Special dry food with kibble in various shapes, textures and aromatic profiles.* Mixed feeding provides the food with different textures, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to pick up and is good for the teeth.
