The food has been specifically developed with a low copper content to minimise the accumulation of copper in the dog's liver cells.

This food has a high energy content and can therefore be fed in smaller quantities, reducing the load on your dog's digestive tract.

Important note

This product is a veterinary diet from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Therefore, it is important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives exactly the nutrition they really need. A change in diet should be carried out carefully and gradually over a period of 7–10 days. Ensure the correct portion size – especially when mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To cater to the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic is also available as a dry food with crunchy kibble.* Mixed feeding provides the food with different textures, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to pick up and is good for the teeth.
