ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O supports your cat’s urinary health

ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is a balanced and nutrient-rich recipe specially developed to support cats with urinary problems such as struvite crystals and stones.

Struvite dissolution

The nutrient blend contained in this recipe helps to dissolve struvite crystals and stones that can form in the bladder.

Urine dilution

This food dilutes your cat’s urine, making it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

Low RSS value

This recipe has a low RSS value (relative supersaturation). This reduces the concentration of ions and helps prevent the possible formation of urinary stones.

Low magnesium content

This recipe contains less magnesium, a natural component of struvite stones.

ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O also creates a urinary environment that makes it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

This product is a veterinary diet from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. It is therefore important that this food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This helps to ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it needs. Any change of food should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Make sure that the portion size is correct, particularly when feeding a combination of wet and dry food.

Suitable for mixed feeding
To cater for the individual preferences of all cats, ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is also available as wet pet food with chunks in gravy or a soft mousse texture.* Mixed feeding provides different textures, which can help stimulate appetite. Wet pet food has a more intense aroma, and its moisture content helps to regulate your pet’s fluid balance. Dry pet food, on the other hand, is easier to portion and helps support dental care.
